Monks

Everyone and their dog is a monk here.

Literally.

It's normal for every Thai male to spend at least 3 months as a monk. Some spend longer, or even their whole lives. So we're seeing a LOT of monks here.

On Friday, as we were eating lunch, we saw someone with their dog dressed in a monk's robes. I'm sure the dog loved it. Sorry to say though that we were too slow on the draw with the camera and didn't manage to get a photo.
